👁️‍🗨️Eye Tracker Calibration

1

Initial Setup

The first screen will display two white circles in a black box; these represent the participant’s eyes.

  • Ensure the distance shown at the bottom of the box is between 60–70 cm.

  • Instruct the participant to sit comfortably and move their chair forward/backward to reach the correct distance. Do not move the monitor forward/backwards.

2

Eye Detection

Wait until the eye tracker detects both eyes.

  • Inform the participant that on the next screen, a red dot will appear, which they should follow with their eyes. Have them press "Enter" to begin.

  • Avoid looking at the eye tracker during this step.

3

Calibration Check

The next screen will display white circles, each with green lines or dots.

  • Confirm that each circle contains a green line or dot, and that no lines extend outside the circles.

  • If calibration looks good, select Accept to start the task. If not, choose Recalibrate and repeat the process.
