Cleaning Checklist 🧽

RAs are responsible for completing cleaning tasks assigned to their shift in addition to regularly keeping the lab clean and organized. The cleaning log is located in the control room for RAs to record their initials for completed tasks. Regularly missed cleaning assignments will result in a warning and a discussion with the lab manager.

Clock In/Out ⏰

RAs working for pay will need to clock in/out every shift using OneUSG Connect. If you forget to clock-in or out or notice your hours are not correct, please let the lab manager know as soon as possible.

Lab Email πŸ“§

RAs are responsible for regurlarly checking the lab email throughout their shift. Respond to messages from participants and update the subject database for each email notification from Bookings.

Schedule & Run Participants πŸ–₯️

RAs are responsible for scheduling and running participant sessions. Please see study specific protocols for more information.

Session Reminders ☎️

Using the lab's phone, RAs are to call the next day's participants to remind them of their session. RAs should contact participants each shift until verbal confirmation is acquired.

Slack πŸ’¬

Slack is used for lab communications. RAs are responsible for regularly checking the app for lab updates and important information.

Validate Participant Parking πŸš™
  1. Open and add the following information to the Parking Validation Log

    • Date & Time

    • Participant's Name

    • Parking Ticket #: 9 digit code

    • Parking Sticker #: 6 digit code

    • Your Name

  2. Add the validation sticker to the participant's parking ticket

We expect RAs utilize free time in the lab to complete lab related work before asking the lab manager to complete course work.

  • Check that the subject database & Bookings are up-to-date

  • Send scheduling reminders to participants

  • Take inventory of lab materials & office supplies

  • Read our lab's publications

  • Learn how to use R

  • Ask the lab manager or graduate students for additional tasks
